The Ronald McDonald House Charity Scholarship is a national scholarship awarded to high school seniors for their college studies. This year, there are three EGCA youths who received the award. They are Aaron Ding, Allen Wen, and Chloe Wong.
Aaron Ding graduated from Jesuit High School in Carmichael. Being a music lover, he is not only a great piano player, but also the first violinist of his school’s orchestra. Besides, he is a singer in his band. He participated in various school plays and served as an executive producer in a film production. Aaron will go to University of California, San Diego, majoring in visual arts and digital media to pursue his dreams in the entertainment industry.
Allen Wen graduated from Franklyn High School in Elk Grove Unified School District. He is a valedictorian of his grade AP Scholars. He is also a member of many clubs in the school. He is attending University of California, Berkeley majoring in business.
Chloe Wang graduated from Lutheran High School in Elk Grove. She is a salutatorian of her class. Like Aaron Ding, she is also a music and theatric lover playing piano in her school music production as well as participating in school plays. Chloe is attending University of California, Berkeley majoring in music and business.
