This year’s mahjong competition was held on November 5 at vice president Marui Sun’s home. There were 16 competitors aged from their twenties to eighties. Some of them had played mahjong for their entire lives; others had just learned the game. They were all eager to test their skills and make friends at mahjong tables. According to member Yun Zhang, he had waited for this day for the whole year. There were four mahjong tables for the first round of games. The competition started at 9:00 a.m., and lasted till 10:00 p.m. After three rounds of competition, here are the winners:
1st place: Cheung K. Yung
2nd Place: Wai Cheung Chan
3rd Place: Huiyun Huang
4th Place: Michelle Ding
