David Guo graduated from Franklin High School as the Class of 2017 Salutatorian, with a 4.71 GPA. At Franklin High, David focused on diversifying himself and broadening his perspectives. To achieve this goal, he devoted much of his time to three clubs: Franklin Key Club, a service organization, Junior State of America (JSA), a political activism club, and HOSA, a medical careers’ club. In each of these organizations, David served as either Vice-President or President, and was a 3-4 year member. Aside from his club activities, David has won awards in Speech and Debate and Moot Court, and was also named a National Merit Semifinalist. He will attend Stanford University in fall, majoring in Bioengineering, but still open to exploring different fields.
