There are ten families participated in the 2009 summer camping from July 31 to August 2 at the Camp Naco Ponderosa campsite near Coloma, the heart of the Gold Country in California. Participating members and their children enjoyed group meals and campfire chatting. They also visited the Marshall Gold Mine State Park, toured the gold mining museum there, and penned the gold at the bank of American River. Of course, rafting the white water of the American River at Coloma is a highlight of the trip.
